The Trailer Hermit

My life has become rather secluded. A typical week day goes like this: Wake up early. See Ryan off when he leaves for work at 7:30AM. Sleep a couple more hours. Wake up, go inside to go to the bathroom and reset the router. Go back to the trailer and work on homework (or attempt to) until Ryan gets home at 7:30PM, sometimes stopping for lunch, sometimes not. This is where my day really begins. We make dinner, eat it. Sometimes visit Ryan's parents or go in and talk to his grandparents. Sometimes we watch a movie. Then it's bedtime. I don't sleep much at night anymore.
I think last night and today I started going crazy. It's odd, the life of an introvert. I need my alone time. Really, I do. I'm afraid of people (except kids and my husband) and I dread even the smallest of confrontations with them. However, I also need people. I have a tendency to draw in upon myself and cut myself off from human association.
We live in a small camping trailer in a driveway in Oregon. I don't know anyone except Ryan's family and friends, and a few ward members. I don't have any good friends here except Ryan. That's my problem. I've always had things like roommates or family members that are always around, and I've always had school where I could meet new people and make new friends. Now I'm taking online classes and the only people I talk to are online. This must be how it feels to be addicted to MMO's. :P
I decided it's gone too far downhill. I need to exercise. I need to talk to people. I need to make new friends and visit them. If I don't change something I'm going to end up in the nut-house!

My Other Blog

Here's a little tid-bit from my other blog. It's not so much a blog as it is a compilation of my writings. Go ahead and check it out: http://klhpensil.wordpress.com

MY BABY IN THE SKY

Tiny toes wriggling free
Big blue eyes with satin lashes
Grasping fingers, melting hearts
My baby in the sky.

Gentle winds
Whisper love
A longing to be with you.
I whisper back
I’m here for you
My baby in the sky.

Who are you
Who floats above me
Watching me, calling me?
Waiting for me
As I wait for you
My baby in the sky.

Hello

Well, I decided to make a blogspot blog. I'll likely post my writings from http://klhpensil.blogspot.com on here, but I think I'll also actually "blog" occasionally. Talk to you soon!
